The following error is shown on macOS Monterey Version 12.4 (Python 2.7.13):

In both cases the PDF is still generated.

I don't have any Mac to test but inkscape_generator uses the command open to open any file with the desktop environment. Do you know which command should be used?

By the way, the latest version is not compatible with Python2.7 anymore. I just created the branch python2.7 to point to the latest python2.7-compatible commit.

I'm glad to you could generate your files. I'd welcome any feedback on the documentation. I used to rely on the web page of the original author but it doesn't exist anymore.
