How to run the simulation in omnetpp 6.0

Many thanks for your work , when I try to run the omnetpp version latest version

The OMNeT++ IDE is not installed!

Question 1 : How did you solve above problem ?

Question 2 :
After generating the topology and workload, you can run PCNsim by opening the project on OMNET++ and running the simulation.
How to do the above step can you please explain in detail ?

PS:
I have setup data from kaggle and followed the steps mentioned in the page below with success

Also I am able to run the topology and workload scripts with no errors can you please detail how to invoke the lightning simualator and reproduce the charts (Figure 3) in your paper https://www.gta.ufrj.br/ftp/gta/TechReports/RCP22.pdf

Hello and thanks for the interest in our simulator.

Q1: As of now, we've developed all our code using the OMNeT++ Simulation IDE. This doesn't mean you can't run experiments without it, but we do not have a tutorial on to how you should run the code via CLI. I highly recommend you follow OMNeT's official guide on how to install the IDE and enable Qtenv for your distro as a first step.

Q2: Once you have the IDE installed, it should immediately pop up once you run ./omnetpp. Then, you import the project in the IDE (File->Import, select "Existing projects into workspace" when prompted) and hit run in the navigation bar on top.

Q3: We created the charts in the paper by simply playing around with the weight of edges inside the Dijkstra's shortest path method:

Specifically, we adopt two types of weights: linkWeight = 1/capacity and linkWeight = fee, and simulate this for a random network with transaction sizes 10, 200 and cc (sampled from the credit card dataset). To reproduce, you should generate the workloads through the workload generator and run the simulation twice (one for each weight definition) in all workloads. This will give you 6 result files inside the results folder that you can visualize in the IDE. Just double click any file, hit Finish, go to the "Browse data" tab and it should work. If you have any issues, you can find more info on how to explore OMNeT's simulation results here.

In the end, we converted these result files to .csv and used matplotlib to create the actual chart you see in the paper.

I was successful in installing Omnet++ 5.6.2 with GUI working when I import the project i am getting these errors
Can we connect over to check and resolve this issue, I would just like to rerun the simulation at my end

I face the below errors while trying to run as omnet++ simulation project, how can I ensure I have all includes am I missing any step here.

Hi,

I am trying with your answer for Q2. I got this error message: "Make sure to select consistent build configurations across all involved projects, i.e. they should be all debug or all release. Current settings:". I try to use "make MODE=debug all" but it still does not work. I am not sure what I did wrong.
