A code signed Windows binary has finally been made available, however the purple screen of death remains. While that will eventually clear up, I started looking into other options at the same time.

Microsoft Store

This looked promising until providing verification information, which produces the same response as Azure Trusted Signing requesting the same documentation that was already provided, so it might impossible for right now.

WinGet

Currently testing out WinGet, so that Crashtest could be installed via Powershell in a similar manner to using Homebrew on Mac.

Testing WInGet, the install is blocked by "An anti-virus product reports an infection in the installer" false positive.

Since WinGet was unsuccessful so far, will also look into Scoop and Chocolatey
