ADK "services options" not documented on `adk run`

Describe the bug

The PR #1037 claimed to update the CLI docs based on adk-python v1.20.0, however, options present in adk-python v1.20.0 such as

• @adk_services_options on the adk run command: https://github.com/google/adk-python/blob/v1.20.0/src/google/adk/cli/cli_tools_click.py#L424-L425 which:
  • includes e.g., the --session_service_uri option: https://github.com/google/adk-python/blob/v1.20.0/src/google/adk/cli/cli_tools_click.py#L370-L388

are not present on https://google.github.io/adk-docs/api-reference/cli/cli.html#adk-run

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to https://google.github.io/adk-docs/api-reference/cli/cli.html#adk-run
2. No mention of --session_service_uri, --artifact_service_uri, or --memory_service_uri options for adk run.

Expected behavior

Expected to see --session_service_uri other options added in adk-python v1.20.0.

You are correct in that those options are present in the CLI but missing from the CLI docs.

This appears to be an upstream issue in adk-python where the CLI decorators are currently implemented in a way that hides these options from the CLI docs generation process, as you can see in the decorator code in https://github.com/google/adk-python/blob/main/src/google/adk/cli/cli_tools_click.py#L370-L421. This means that those services options are shown in the CLI docs for adk api_server, but not for the wrapper adk run as you mentioned and linked to.

@ryanaiagent, I don't seem to have the right permissions to transfer this issue to the adk-python repo. Could you help us move it there?
