Search query returns deleted values

I'm using flashlight with heroku and bonsai.
Everything seems to work fine but there were fields in the firebase DB that were deleted but are being returned as query result.

Also running into this issue. Looks like they discussed it in the past: #22

Any ideas how to go about this?

This only happens when I delete the fields manually. I’m still stuck on this one.
