Strip out YUI and use vanilla JS #7
Description
Currently, the website uses a very old, unsupported version of YUI for its Javascript and CSS. It really needs to be removed. I don't believe it needs to be replaced with a modern framework; the JS and CSS in Flying Cracker are so basic that it would be simplest and easiest to simply use basic JS and CSS. If the frontend gets to the point that it needs many complex effects, then a framework can be added later.
