Hi, I would like to ask if someone here could help me with the question.
I am currently running a device as 802.11n AP using hostapd. I want it to broad in the beacon that this AP is capable of performing the 802.11n standard TX beamforming with 2 antennas, and it only accepts explicit compressed beamforming matrix feedback from the clients.
I have been looking into the configuration file https://github.com/greearb/hostap-ct/blob/master/hostapd/hostapd.conf. The beamforming related fields start from 802.11ac (VHT) capabilities onwards. I wonder how could I indicate the transmit beamforming capabilities in HT?
