LLVM version?

Please specify and write LLVM version to work with current source.

Thanks for your interest. I can't remember exactly what the version is. The commit message shows that I was using LLVM 3.6 at the time.

Thank you for your reply. I tried 3.5,3.6,3.7,3.8,3.9. When using 3.6, the number of error is minimum, but fail.

Can you show me the error message? If it's LLVM-related, it should be relatively easy to fix.

directly specifiying brace-initializer causes error. i use gcc 4.9.4.

Looks like in that particualr version of LLVM, ArrayRef cannot be implicitly constructed from an initiailizer list.

The fix should be easy: just construct the second argument of GetElementPtrInst::Create() explicitly:

ArrayRef<Value*> offsets = { ConstantInt::get(Type::getInt64Ty(inst->getContext()), 0), offsetValue };
auto gepInst = GetElementPtrInst::Create(src, offsets, inst->getName(), inst);

If that doesn't work, try to be more explicit:

ArrayRef<Value*> offsets;
offsets.push_back(ConstantInt::get(Type::getInt64Ty(inst->getContext()), 0));
offsets.push_back(offsetValue);
auto gepInst = GetElementPtrInst::Create(src, offsets, inst->getName(), inst);

llvm::ArrayRef doesn't have push_back method.. do you mind recommending another class?

Ahh, you are right. ArrayRef is immutable.

You could use std::vector<Value*>, and then construct a ArrayRef on top of that:

auto gepInst = GetElementPtrInst::Create(src, ArrayRef<Value*>(offsets), inst->getName(), inst);
