Giving the app USB permission with the Apple USB-C 3.5mm dongle will cause it to just repeatedly open in a loop, hitting apply after it opening once (and then hitting cancel on the next USB permission pop up) causes the app to crash.
I'll look into this more when I have time but letting y'all know for now :)
