Help me understand... Trying the beta version

Trying the new beta hoping to find a way to include my floor in the energy dashboard and a better way to keep track on the cost. Haven't had time for a deep dive into the figures yet, but one thing struck me as weird.

Because when looking at the graphs it looks like the energy consumption is the same disregarding if its heating or not. I can buy a slight consuption, but this just looks weird to me...

Any explanations? Feels like I'm totally missing something here...

@strelniece - what are you using for your device energy sensor in the Energy Dashboard? The Warmup API returns an energy attribute which provides the daily energy usage, although there is a slight lag. I use the following template to pull that value into a sensor, along with the temperatures. I then added the daily_energy sensor as a device sensor in the Energy Dashboard.

It seems to give a reasonable, slightly delayed indication of enery used:

The "Badrummet kWh" is the attribute extracted to a separate sensor. And right now it's not at all in the Energy dashboard because it's something weird with the value in general. It's way to high than it should be. Basically I think I used the wrong value for the power when I set up the application in the warmup app.

But that is a different story... And getting close to just give up and let an electrician install a separate energy meter...

But even if yours do show a slight lag, it doesn't increase for most parts when it's off.

My next plan is actually to create a new climate entity that will do a hard on/off on the warmup climate entity and that way see what it looks like when it comes to consumption.
