R Restart after 30 seconds

I have received the SH-ESP32 Development Board SKU:sh-esp32 and, following the instructions contained in the below link, I have uploaded the firmware.

It seems to work but I have noted that every 30 second the display restarts and, I think also the board, please see the attached video.
Is that correct?

Have a look at main.cpp line 45. There you have a time constant after which the device resets itself if it hasn't received any NMEA 2000 messages. If you want to remove that behavior, remove the app.onRepeat section beginning at line 167.

I looked at line 45 and saw where the time constant is.
Thanks also for the advice to remove app.onRepeat, but I think I will prolong the time for now trying to understand why no NMEA messages are coming.
I am using the NMEA Simulator by Timo Lappalainen to debug the board.

The usual suspects would be lack of +12V on the bus or missing terminators. And the next thing is to check the polarity of H and L.

The bus voltage, 12 VDC, and the termination resistance, 120 ohm, are OK. I am using the device you see in the attached figure, the result of another freeware project found online. (12>V bus voltage is from an external power supply).
This device works well if inserted on a NMEA2K backbone but connected to the SH-ESP32 Development Board SKU:sh-esp32 it does not receive anything even though on the SH-ESP32 display I see the TX packets increasing.
I have to check carefully with an oscilloscope, I would not like to have received a faulty board.
