Hex page goes into an infinite loop fetching API when the passed hex is not in the expected res8 resolution

The backend supports res8 hexes only and <res8 resolution requests are denied with HTTP 422.
On receiving the error, the request is retried. This create an infinite loop, (I guess) till the user close the browser.
