Game not saving

Hi, my game has been running amazingly for the past few months but three times now the game has not been saving after I quit, even if I hit the "save game" button in the book of dragons. I am currently stuck in Unlandable Cove. If I go to another area and quit the game then reopen it, it does not save and moves me back to Unlandable Cove. Same if I complete any challenges, collect food or get new dragons (I just have 6 right now).

UPDATE: the game is now saving, but I need to press "save game" button in order for it to save. Before, I didn't have to press the button and could just quit the game with no worries.. I'm not sure why it wouldn't save yesterday.

UPDATE #2: the save feature is now just working very inconsistently. I played for about an hour and it saved about half of my progress and I was teleported back to where I was 30 minutes ago. It seems like it's just picking and choosing what it wants to save at this point and it isn't very consistent with saving at all :(

I'm starting to have this issue too (I downloaded the game two days ago). The game was saving consistently at first, but now, whether the "Save Game" button chooses to work is very "hit or miss". I clicked the "Credits" button to make sure the game is registering my clicks on that menu and it definitely is. I wish there was some sort of saving icon in-game. :/
