defective rendering on Firefox

Hi!
Many thanks for the nice Advent Calendar.

I tried it on Firefox, both the latest release version 50.0.2 and developer edition 52.0a2 (2016-12-07). on both of them the rightmost column of cubes is always overlapping the neighbor column:

Further, the box explode animation looks not so good as on Chrome, where the whole thing looks best, IMHO.

BTW, on IE11 there are no boxes at all but only tiles (which flip nicely) instead of cubes.
