Failed to open /etc/hosts

Hi,

I enabled the Hosts plugin but it doesn't work, the message is:

Warning: Hosts: "Failed to open /etc/hosts for saving because: Permission denied (5)"

I already have permission in /etc/hosts:

$ ls -l /etc/hosts
-rwxrwxrwx 1 xavier users 195 Feb 23 23:08 /etc/hosts*
$ whoami                                                                                                       
xavier

Any idea?
