hi Mike, I've worked through the various issues.
Many of the TEI fields from the Header relate to ISAD(G) fields, and I think it would be worth preparing a 'cross-walk' from the ISAD(G) fields to the TEI equivalents for the purposes of consistency going forward.
I've attached a few documents to assist with this: our metadata handbook, which describes how the database uses the ISAD(G) descriptive elements; an excel template for data capture for those fields; a spidergram of the data-model; and an excel sheet which lists the ISAD(G) fields and relates them to other metadata standards, e.g. Dublin Core.
I think this is worth a discussion. Essentially what we will require is a style book for the application of the TEI elements within Beyond 2022, so they work not only for the gold seam, but other future gold seams as well.
