.Xresources is on lockdown

Hello, I have recently been playing with the starship shell prompt
and found that the current nerd font for ST couldn't decode
a very specific glyph for an arrow.

I tried adding to the .Xresources with these fonts I recently updated through fc-cache:
St.font: UbuntuMono Nerd Font Mono:size=13
st.font: UbuntuMono Nerd Font Mono:size=13

It was a suprise that after logging back in through LightDM,
the file was reset back to defaults.

After this I tried adding to the .instantrc:
instantrc.txt

The line "/home/juan/.Xresources 0" did not help in this case.

you need to disable autotheming in the appearance settings for this.
instantthemes is in the middle of a major rewrite that has been on the backburner because other stuff came up and will likely come out in beta 7
Having it respect instantrc is a really good idea, I'll add that to the todo :)
