IstSOS 2 to IstSOS 4

Hello,
We saw that IstSOS 4 is now the new official version of the software https://istsos.org/index.html
We are wondering about migrating to version 4 during this year and I have a few questions :

• Does the migration from 2 to 4 is easy ? Is there some doc or script to automatize it ?
• From my understanding, the v4 is only an API ? Is there a plan to develop a user interface ?

Hello Theo,
migration: the creation of procedure for the automatic migration from istSOS2 to istSOS4 is an ongoing process planned for this year. This includes the adaptation of the SOS model to STA model. If you are willing to contribute we will be really happy !
interface: v4 so far is only an API, but there are plans for developing an interface. We have currently proposed two GSoC projects topics in this direction, which are: (1) development of a Graphana plugin for istSOS4 (2) development of an admin interface for istSOS4. ALso here, if you have time and willing to contribute would be very nice.

Glad to know there are plans on migration and for a new interface.
I have already a lot of things planned in 2025 but maybe in automn I will have little free time. I'll tell you
