Known v1 caveat: double-click in prose (markdown/text panes) natively selects a word; the composer opens anyway and collapses that selection. Users double-clicking to select/copy get a popover they must Esc. Long-press and c-hover are the friction-free alternatives in text-heavy panes.
Accepted for the beta-flagged feature; revisit if it annoys in practice (options: suppress dblclick-open inside .markdown-body prose and rely on heading/long-press/hotkey there, or require a modifier in prose).
