Hi,

After disabling SIP and running the app, could start it and the iphone is correctly identified, but in the end I get this error "There was an error while patching MDM... Please reboot your device and try again..." and the patch isn't successfull.

Can you please help?

ya same here iPhone 13 mini iOS 17.4.1.
I disabled SIP
App ran normal and showed success but still shows up the MDM screen again and again

@emaa10 first of all, I don't even understand the language in that video and next I have already opened the lock on 17.4.1 13Mini.
Thing is once again restore the iPhone and then eat 5Star do nothing just patch with app a couple times open the phone and no app opens and prompts to the usual "software update complete" screen, now just disconnect phone from Mac and set up as if it is a new phone. Wola everything works, I think this also patched off the sim restrictions or it didn't had any in first place but I was told it was locked to Verizon .

just quit mdmpatcher, Disable SIP and "Restore iPhone" from finder again, do nothing but patch without even touching the phone after finder shows "iPhone Activated" screen. just patch a couple times for no sake and continue the as usual process and setup things.

I didn't try erasing all content again after patching is successful but if anybody does that and the mdm lock doesn't appear please let me know I want to know what happens if I factory restore the iPhone, will it go back to lock or the lock is no more on the phone anywhere?

What is this patcher even doing, I want to know this also like is it SSH into iPhone and rm rf the files related to these locks or anything else...?

I was experiencing this issue until I followed the instructions in this repo.

Specifically, starting from step 5 where it tells you to stop before you choose a wifi-network, open Finder window, wait for the Apple device to be found by the Macbook and step 7 The screen may say something about "Activating...". If it does, wait until this screen says to "Get Started".

Attempting the patch after the "Get Started" page shows works perfectly.

@fable-coltish is right about this issue. If you're getting an error while patching, it could be because the device hasn't fully activated yet. Make sure to follow the steps carefully—open Finder, wait for your device to show "Get Started" before trying to patch.

For me after the clicking on the device in Finder, it would go through "Activating..." then show the iPad locked to owner sign in screen immediately. Restarted and tried a few different order of operations, but I would never get the "Get Started" page. So I would always get the error.

Any ideas?
