How can I annotate an image?

Maybe I oversee something obvious, but I take a screenshot with PRINTSCREEN key and have the preview in the right bottom.
And now? How can I annotate the image? There is no obvious link to open the editor, what am I missing?

idk tbh lol unless you accidently turned it on the auto fullscreen or something idk its made to just happen after you screenshot automatically

This response was crap... "idk tbh lol"? You got to do better than that for your users man.

@klauswiesel - I had the same issue and solved it by bringing my Windows 11 install up to date (I was several months behind) which also rebooted my PC. Not sure exactly what did the trick. One thing to note, like me, you were probably looking for annotation tools after you composed the screen shot. Upon reboot I noticed the annotation tools are presented at time of screenshot. It's kind of strange but you can make all of the drawings, use the sticker tool, etc. on the screen and then save the image.

Also, FFmpeg is an undisclosed dependency for screen recording
