Third-party software
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No third-party source code has been copied into aff4tools. Reference
implementations of AFF4 were consulted to understand the format only.

Dependencies are obtained from crates.io and are not redistributed in source
form by this project. Every dependency in a default build is under a permissive
license: MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD-2-Clause, BSD-3-Clause, 0BSD, Zlib, Unicode-3.0,
or Unlicense. Where a crate offers a choice, the MIT option is elected.

A binary distribution of aff4tools redistributes compiled dependency code and
must carry a third-party license appendix naming, at minimum, those crates
offering no MIT option:
