No data fetch after HA Core update to 2026.0

Hi,
after updating the HA Core to version 2026.1.0 all sensor values changed 'unknown'. I've tried to reload the integration, also changed to a previous version, removed the device/entities plus the itegratation and reconnected the sensorbox.
It is getting discoverd w/o issues, but then there are no values delivered. The sensorbox shows the current radon-value on its own display and i also have restarted the devices.
It was working before flawlessly and the only thing i remember that i've changed by that time, is the core update.
Any idea what could be checked in addition or is someone experiencing the same issues on a new core version?

I'll take a look. I have not updated to 2026.1 ( I usually wait until .1 or .2 comes out). They often depreciate things without telling anyone!

I updated and it still works. Another integration broke, but rd200 works fine. I'll wait to see if others post issues.

Do you have a version 1 or version 2 device?

When i was writing the text yesterday, the removing and re-adding was already two days old, but this morning the sensor was showing values again in HA.
The device has an IK serial, what makes it then? A V2?

Thank you for checking in with my issue and im sorry that some of your other integrations seem to be broken now.

I have no idea what went wrong after upgrading the Core Version and why it seems to be fixed again now. There were several restarts in the meantime, thats for HA, the hardware and the device (we had an outage on Monday night for an hour).

This is really strange. Yes, a couple of my (not ones I wrote) integrates stopped working. A field was depreciated and needed google to figure out how to fix.

Are there any other integrations that have failed? Are your Bluetooth proxies updated to the latest ESPHome?

A few older integrations failed because ImportError: cannot import name 'HomeAssistantType' from 'homeassistant.helpers.typing' , perhaps check your logs if you have this error. Perhaps it is breaking another bluetooth integratation, which is having down stream effects. They made a lot of bluetooth/ESPHome changes and perhaps it is related to something upstream.

Also look in the new bluetooth section in settings. Perhaps your BT adapters are not working? For some reason, it shows two of my proxies as unavailable, yet ESPHome says they are working fine. I am only at 2025.12.1 ESPHome and .5 is out.

As my HA machine is also located in the basement, the sensor is connected via USB dongle. All my other Bluetooth devices that connect through proxies (e.g. batterie bmses (bmss? More than one, no idea what the correct plural would be) in the shed) work fine and had no hiccups after the upgrade.

No everything else is working fine. I don't use Bluetooth proxies, only inbuild Bluetooth from my Intel NUC.

Bluetooth adapter is shown as working and I see the Radon device and other devices in advertisement monitor.

@jaegerschnitzel Sorry, I am not sure what to do.

Maybe look at the readme and follow the directions to remove the peak and uptime sensor? That has helped others with built in Bluetooth. Does not explain why upgrading broke it. Maybe hit @bdraco up on discord? He helped diagnose a flaw in bluetooth causing this device not to work well in the past. Since everything works for me, there is not much I can do.

My setup also started failing on 2026.1, I uninstalled rd200 and now it faills to install.

On Home Assistant Core I see:

Error connecting to and getting data from 94:3C:C6:DD:26:1A: 94:3C:C6:DD:26:1A - 94:3C:C6:DD:26:1A: Failed to connect after 10 attempt(s): TimeoutError

I have a radoneye 200 v1. I'm under proxmox doing BT passthrough. Other BT integrations work fine.

I am not sure, mine has not had issues.

I am on latest Home Assistant (HAOS on x86) and ESPHome. Be sure you are running the latest ESPHome on your proxy and use the recommended configuration on your proxy:
