Hi Jérôme,

I bumped into your project while hunting around for a CLI tool that would help me manage our ElasticCloud hosted ES clusters at my company.

Do you have a preference for if or how you'd like to see folks contribute back to this project?

Our company uses Github Enterprise in EMU mode, so I cannot directly contribute from the fork of this project straight back to your own, but I could manage something I'm sure.

I admit, I'm relying on Claude Code to accelerate my work here. I'm adding things like:

• Addressing some of the deprecation warnings in the project as it stands today (replacing pkg_resources with importlib.metadata)
• Adding support for ES API keys instead of just raw basic auth
• giving some love to the raw ... command set where it wasn't providing the correct Content-Type headers for commands, and providing some nice colourized JSON output for the responses
• Adding ILM endpoints so I can have commands like "ilm explain/retry/start/status/stop" and "ilm policy CRUD"
• Adding Transform endpoints so I can have similar CRUDy commands like the ILM cmds I've added

I'm hoping to maybe also add some Okta SSO integration as well (we leverage that for auth to our clusters), though that's a bit more daunting and appears to require modification to our Okta App for each cluster.

If you're interested in some of these enhancements I'd be happy to figure out a way to provide that work back up stream!
