Following every step gives me:
Error: error:1E08010C:DECODER routines::unsupported

Seems to be OpenSSL related:
nodejs/help#4115

Has anyone found a solution yet?

In case it's helpful to anyone else, I was able to get this to work. At least for me, the issue was that I hadn't included the -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- and -----END PRIVATE KEY-----
Once I added that, it worked, albeit with a warning:

DeprecationWarning: The `punycode` module is deprecated. Please use a userland alternative instead.
(Use `node --trace-deprecation ...` to show where the warning was created)

The client email and private key are taken verbatim from the service_account credentials json (without the "s). The punycode warning I found the workaround to be to downgrade node to version 20 LST. Then this code actually works, but now I have to find a way to point it at the credentials instead of having to type it in each time. That shouldn't be a problem and should actually be part of this package to look at the json.
