Better visual integration of the position indicator

I’ve been working with Concat for a bit now, and personally, I feel the red position indicator stands out a little too much. For the future, when there’s time, I’d like to see something more subtle, like in CapCut.

Maybe not necessarily white, but in the green that defines Concat’s general look. It could even be adaptive, so if you were to customize your theme later on, switching from green to blue, for instance, the indicator would change accordingly.

Do you see the vision, or not? (Just a discussion)

@FasteryXD Yes, think in general with theme introduction it could be customizable. Partially related, in testing also enable/disable play position follow so will see if can be customized when theme PR gets (if) merged.

@FasteryXD I think making it entirely white instead of red would hide it in lighter themes. So I'll just add the settings to customize the playhead color in Settings > Appearance.

As I said, I’m pretty happy with it now. Just two minor points though, as mentioned, this is only a discussion, and of course everyone may have a different preference.

The first point is the width of the position indicator. In CapCut, it was almost twice as wide as the current one. I actually preferred the wider version because it gave you something more substantial to grab onto when moving it around.

The second point concerns the overall design of the indicator’s tip. The general look is very polished and modern, especially with the rounded corners, but the sharp triangular tip of the position indicator doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the design and looks slightly out of place.

I’ve uploaded a few examples of designs from other developers to show what I mean by a more modern, rounded approach to the tip. I think something along those lines would fit the overall design language much better.
