Your code is impossible to subclass

Because of the way you use the constant PATTERNS, your code is hard to use as a base class. I like what your code does but I have to modify your code in order to make a few tweaks for it to be suitable for what I want to do (and/or extend it's functionality).

I can make a few minor changes that would Regexify's use as a base for extension. I've never done a fork or pull request on GitHub before but I'm certainly willing to try. Please let me know. I will make sure that all your tests pass.

I created a pull request with the changes. They're pretty minor... There's a new file called examples/example.rb that demonstrates my changes. You didn't have any tests so example.rb serves as a beginning for that as well.

Hey Steve, thanks for your interest in the repo. I'm certainly open for suggestions. I'll look into your PR in a sec. I also added two new issues that would allow to test regexify and have unified coding conventions (see #3 & #4)
