[QUESTION] A failure after launching updated server

Hello!

I'm sorry, but could you explain how to update the server?
I followed the instructions precisely. The only time I deviated from them was after extracting the archive—to be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what to do with the extracted files, so I simply used them to overwrite the old ones. Although, later I tried to delete the old files and copy new ones in their place, but the final result was the same. After that, I replaced the new MySQL version with the old one I had backed up earlier and started XAMPP...
Once the server was running, several connection error notifications appeared one after another.
Why did this happen, and how can I fix it or prevent it from happening again?

There is nothing more which i can cover in update instruction.

There is no such step in update instruction.
There is step:
"From old repack folder copy ASP/Server/mysql and paste into unpacked update_only archives (same location)"
What is unclear in that?
You sure you downloaded "update_only" archive?
