Select programming language and framework

As the dict-server will be separated from the api-server we have the chance to select another programming language / framework.
It's not really about what's best suited, but what we would like to work with.

Whitespace? 😬 and seriously: I like Bash. And I fancy scripting in Bash. And it should work, since it is Turing complete. Anyhow, we should not completely ignore the suitability of the language when deciding. I'd say we stay with Python, also because I like that language. If Python is out of the question, I'd be interested in practicing some C++.
