Elixir 1.17, OTP 27 Error

Hello Team,

I have been trying to make a project run, that uses Sweet XML, and I keep seeing this error:

(UndefinedFunctionError) function :xmerl_scan.string/2 is undefined (module :xmerl_scan is not available) (xmerl 2.1.3.1) :xmerl_scan.string(~c"...", ...)

What am I doing wrong? I don't see anyone else facing this issue, so maybe I have to make some change or replace something to make it run?

Hello, could you give us a minimal project that reproduce the problem ? Or at least check that you are not using :applications instead of :extra_applications in your mix.exs ?
What's strange is that it shows that the application is considered to be loaded, or at least it is recognized.
