Sunsynk Revenue Info 'Live Price' over rides Predbat control

not sure if this has been covered. on my sunsynk i had my octopus acc set to live price, so, Valuation Method, charge battery, stop and discharge, start prices. well that i think was stopping predbat from having full control. its now set to Valuation Method constant price and now Sunsynk or Deye Inverter add-on and predbat are in full control. if im wrong or theres was an easier way around, please comment, cheers
