Internal fan sensor

Hi!
I need to create a binary sensor that will let me know when the internal fan of a 5kW Deye turns on.
Could anyone help me?

Have a look at the modbus documents for your inverter. If you can find a register number you can create a custom sensor.

If not documented, you could try emailing Deye support and asking for the register number

There is no register for this in the modbus document. It´s a good idea to email to Deye suppor to asking for it.

You can try a custom sensor, register 55 and bitmask=1

"Fully opening" sounds like you can switch the fan on/off. I'm not sure that is a good idea though
