The README still lists "Hardware Tessellation" as a supported feature, but the actual tessellation implementation was removed in commit ac24d37 ("Remove deprecated tesselation code"). Also Tesselation related Shader Files are still Present
Expected behavior
Documentation should accurately reflect the current feature set to avoid user confusion.
