Possibly making the linux desktop app look a bit better and cleaner with a custom toolbar instead of the native window?

Maybe not the biggest priority but linux users would love the same clean look and feel that Mac gets with it's windows.

+1 on this — and it's less work than it looks, because the frameless path already exists; Linux is just excluded from it.

In website/electron/main.js the window chrome branches on platform (main.js:1341-1353):

• macOS: titleBarStyle: "hidden" + native traffic lights inset into the dashboard's own 42px header (trafficLightPosition, kept aligned across zoom by positionTrafficLights).
• Windows: titleBarStyle: "hidden" + titleBarOverlay for the native caption buttons, colour-synced to the dashboard theme.
• Linux: nothing — the comment there literally says Electron ignores titleBarStyle on Linux, so it keeps the native frame.

The second half is that the injected drag region is gated to mac/Windows too (main.js:1217, if (IS_MAC || IS_WIN)), so even with the frame removed the header wouldn't move the window yet.

So a Linux implementation is roughly:

1. frame: false instead of titleBarStyle (Electron honours frame on Linux) — in both createWindow() and the remote-connection window at main.js:2048.
2. Extend the drag-bar injection to Linux, reserving a right-hand inset like the existing Windows right: 138px case.
3. Render the window controls in the SPA, since Linux has no titleBarOverlay. That means new windowAPI IPC in preload.js (minimize / toggleMaximize / close / isMaximized) — there's currently no window-control IPC at all — plus a header component gated on "frameless Linux".

The parts that actually need care are Linux-specific rather than cosmetic: frame: false drops WM resize borders on several window managers, edge-snapping and super+arrow behaviour varies, double-click-to-maximize has to be implemented by hand, system-context-menu (the right-click Rename Window / Set Remote Host menu, main.js:1195) is mac/Windows-only, and X11 vs Wayland/XWayland behave differently. Worth shipping with an opt-out to keep native decorations, given how varied Linux setups are.
