You will need C11 compiler. If you want Python bindings you should have C++14 compiler and Pybind11 installed.
Use APT package manager to install dependencies:
sudo apt install g++ python3-pip ninja-build libpython3-dev sudo apt install libreadline-dev libjson-glib-dev
sudo -H pip3 install meson pybind11 numpy
Use Homebrew to install packages needed:
brew install meson pybind11 numpy readline gtk4 json-glib
Meson Build system is used to automate building and installation. To create build directory, type:
meson setup {source_directory_name} {build_directory_name}
You can put your build directory inside of source directory:
cd {source_directory_name}
PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/cuda/bin/ meson setup {build_directory_name}
Use ninja command from your build directory to compile binaries:
cd {build_directory_name}
ninja
To install compiled binaries locally, type:
sudo ninja install
