Not confirmed yet, I don't own the device. As far as I know the Magic V6 ships with a recent MagicOS/Android version (15 or 16), but I'd appreciate confirmation.

Hi, thank you for this project.

I'm considering buying an Honor Magic V6 specifically to be able to use ShizuCallRecorder for call recording. I checked both the XDA thread and the existing Issues/Discussions here, but I couldn't find any report of someone testing it on the Magic V6 (foldable). I did find confirmations for the Magic V5, Magic 7 Pro, Magic 8 Pro, and the Honor 200/400/600 series.

Has anyone tried it on a Magic V6? I'd like to know if it works reliably (full call recorded, no early cutoff, no crashes) before purchasing the device.

I translated ShizuCallRecorder into Persian (Farsi), but I couldn't correctly add the "values-fa/strings.xml" file to GitHub.

The translation is complete and ready. Could you please add the file to the project and review it?

Hi, generally you would make a PR (Pull Request) for theses type of requests. However, I do not merge language files on Github to prevent conflicts. If you look at the contributing readme section under Translation hosting generously provided by Weblate. you can see the a list of available translations. You can go on Weblate via the link and add new languages or help improve existing languages.

I hope this message finds you well. First of all, thank you for creating ShizuCallRecorder — it's a really useful app, and I truly appreciate all the time and effort you've put into it.

I wanted to let you know that I've finished translating the app into Persian (Farsi). The translation is now available on Weblate for you to review and merge.

Would you be able to include the Persian translation in an upcoming update? I'd also be very grateful if you could add my name (Mehrshad Kashani) as the translator in the credits or README. That would mean a lot to me.

This will get merged before v2.0.0 release when it's ready. I didn't push my local code yet to the "big-big-audio-work" (dev) branch yet.

Unless the OS does bad modifications (for us) to the AOSP source code, the app should work on Android 11-16 for now. I cannot confirm the Honor Magic V6 will works as I do not own one, maybe someone in reddit or XDA could confirm it. I know it works on Samsung, Pixel, and OPPO/other chineses manufacturers
