What is the status of this project? Is it still being developed or maintained?

No it's not maintained. As you can see last updates are 10 years ago.
It's a shame because it is a smart application. I liked it.
Some month ago I upgraded Debian to version 12.4 and also therefore to PHP 8.2
Sine that time it doesn't work anymore. Didn't find a solution and also no alternative till now.
