Thanks for the quick turnaround - the toggle works. But the mode itself is still out of reach: climate.turn_on leaves the choice to HA, and its fallback order is HEAT_COOL -> HEAT -> COOL, so my A/C always comes on in heat, never cool.

Could the expanded controls get an hvac_modes selector calling climate.set_hvac_mode? set_hvac_mode isn't gated by supported_features, so it should just be the attribute list. Happy to test a branch.
