I think we want to make a bigger deal about "The Big Three": Stocks, Bonds, and Cash (and Other).
Getting into the minutia of asset classes clutters up the UI:
I think there should be layers to it. Primarily, every asset needs to have weights for The Big Three.
Adding subclasses and weights for those subclasses is optional.
To further expand on this, this would allow us to also clean up the Asset Library page.
For example, only bonds use the "Duration" column. We can make separate tables for each of the big three (making it easier to find what you're looking for), and only have the duration column on the Bond Assets table. There might be other similar things we can do for the other assets.
