sharedown remains waiting (yellow circle remains turning)

Hello. I am new here. Thanks in advance for your service in helping others.

I recently installed Sharedown and added ffmpeg and yt-dlp accordingly. When trying to download a sharepoint-mp4, all goes okay. new browser window opens, request for log in;okayl then the sharepoint file starts playing, but sharedown does not do anything. yellow circle remains turning. If I close the browser after eg 10 minutes, sharedown tells me: unable to find video player element: browser disconnected.

How to resolve this and that sharedown downloads while the broswer is open?

Hi Kylon. the folder C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\sharedown\logs remains empty; can not find a log file there.

PS same happens (endless yellow circle turning) in case I go to settings and enable: remember login credentials ; so it might be related to such?

Hello @kylon, This tool looks really cool but I'm having the same issue and I look forward to getting your help please

When I click on "Start Download" button, a chromium window opens and ask for login details. When I enter login details follow by authenticator approval from my mobile authenticator app by entering two digit code and biometric verification (extra forced security and I can't disable it), it loads the download video link on the chromium window and I could play it there. However, in the sharedown app, yellow circle remains turning and after 60sec it shows timeout message.

I tried few things from the app settings as mentioned below but nothing worked so far

• I tried all three different downloader methods
• Enabled “Keep Chrome window open”
• Enabled “Enable Chrome userdata folder”

it is failing to grab the video, have you tried to set timeout to 0? maybe it just needs some more time

I set timeout to 0 and nothing happend for an houre, except yellow circle remained turning. Output folder is blank. Only thing, I can do from the pop-up chromium window is to play video in that frame but no video download whatsoever :(

it is weird it cannot find the player, i just tried and didn't see any change in video page unless there are different versions, i think this and similar issues require a rewrite to be fixed for good
