Brought up in discussion of MR #142 . @adamdempsey90 suggests they should live in a comment in the MR. I see the merit in that. The current model is that they live in a folder live with the repo, so they can be trawled later, both by humans doing code archeology and AI agents to see the history of design choices. What do people think>
