darkos4clone ports not launching

Using an r36ultra/darkos4clone 13032026 build and installed/updated portmaster. I downloaded a few ready to run ports but none of them will launch from the menu. They just boot back to the menu. I tried reinstalling portmaster as well as the games but no help. They do launch through executing the .sh in file manager.

Seems /usr/local/bin/AltSDL.sh is missing, I had to change the es_systems.cfg removing the AltSDL to make it works

Where is es_systems.cfg and what do I need to change? Just delete AltSDL from the file?

You can put this file into /usr/local/bin/AltSDL.sh

Ok did it but it didn't have any effect. Games still don't boot from the menu

try to chmod +x /usr/local/bin/AltSDL.sh

All that did was add the AltSDL.sh file. Didn't have any effect.

How do you do chmod? I use Windows and the r36 ultra can only be accessed through renote services. Connecting it to my laptop via usb ut doesn't get recognized. I just downloaded and dropped the file into the folder.

Either use ssh to remotely connect to your handheld over network, or put the SD card into a Linux computer and mount the ROOTFS partition to access these files

I was able to get PortMaster to install and run after this change. I was also able to download and install individual ports. However none of the ports I have been able to download will run if you select them from the "Ports" entry. What worries me is that there is no log.txt in the individual ports folders. Any time you try to run a port, a log.txt should be created in the individual ports folder (like /roms/ports/devilutionx, thats where diablo is installed). The fact that they are not launching OR creating a log worries me.

do you have logs enabled in Advanced Settings > Log Level?

I do, but I'm still getting nothing when I try launching a port, except if I try launching it by running the .sh file from the file browser. It actually launches when I try it that way
