Gyroscope not working

I've been trying to get the gyroscope to work but there doesn't seem to be a way for me to do so. Is there currently a problem with Gyroscope feature that I'm not aware of?

Gyro support has always been flaky. Please look at one of the previous
issues where I describe some ways to fix it.
