This problem isn't browser related

What happened?

I want to see last year's transactions, and find the date selectors cumbersome, so wondered if this would work:

Image

I selected the start date of January 1 2024, and a period of Year. Now, the point is not that this isn't the right way to do it (I've figured out that I have to leave the date blank, just select the year in the dropdown after Period, and then click the Year radio button), but that the results are … strange.

It gives me this result:

… plus many more lines

Note, that in the header there's a From date but no To Date (and the capitalization should be consistent!). Now if I click on any of the COA account numbers on that report, I get:

I'm fairly sure that the first report has actually included everything from the date I specified to either the current date, or the last entry in the database (in my case those would be the same, so I can't tell), but the second report has thrown in a spurious end date prior to the start date! And so, there are never any results.

What should have happened?

I'd hope that the first page would simply stop me choosing inconsistent options, but the two reports should always be using the same date range!
