Bug: Full screen notifications not appearing at all, other reminders working

I am unable to view full screen notifications at all. The pre-reminder at 3 minutes before is working correctly.

Reproduction steps

1. Create a meeting in Google Calendar which does have a meeting link.
2. Install MeetingBar.
3. Connect Google Calendar.
4. Enable full screen and system notifications in MeetingBar preferences.
5. Enable notifications in System Preferences.
6. Wait until 3 minutes before the event and view the system notification.
7. Wait until the event time, do not view a full screen popup and miss your important meeting.

Expected behavior

The full screen popup should show.

This issue is for a different problem, possibly on the latest version of MacOS and unrelated to whether the event has a joining link or not.

Based on the code and recent issues, full screen notifications in MeetingBar are triggered only if you have enabled the full screen popup preference and the event has a meeting link. The notification is displayed as a borderless window above all other windows, and there are no macOS version-specific blocks or permission requirements for this popup—it is separate from system notifications and should appear even if system notifications do. The code checks every 10 seconds for events starting soon and skips notifications if the screen is locked or the event was already processed. If your event has a meeting link and you have enabled the full screen popup in preferences, it should work as expected on macOS 15.6.1, but if it does not, there may be an edge case or bug in the event processing logic or window display code. If you have confirmed the event has a meeting link, the full screen popup is enabled, and your screen is not locked, but still see no popup, it may help to check if the event is being processed multiple times or if the window is being created but not shown. There are no similar reports for macOS 15.6.1, so this may be a new or rare issue.

Facing same issue. Preference is enabled and it was working, stopped working sometime after the mac OS update.
All meetings have a meeting link, I get a alert banner too, just not full screen notification

@dosu is there any helpful logging in this area? Can I find out what happened at the time of my meeting and the full screen reminder did not show?

There isn't any built-in logging or debug output in MeetingBar for full screen notifications or their failures. The code that handles these popups doesn't log when it tries to show a notification, nor does it record errors if the popup fails to appear. This means you won't find any helpful logs in the Console app or MeetingBar's output to diagnose why a full screen reminder didn't show at a specific time. Improving logging around this feature would make troubleshooting much easier, especially after OS updates that might affect window behavior. If you need to investigate further, you would have to add custom logging to the relevant parts of the codebase yourself.

Same issue sir. Fullscreen notifications worked like a charm even on MacOs 26 dev build for months, but stopped working recently (maybe a month ago or so). Please let me know what logs or additional data might be helpful to reproduce and fix the issue.

Same for me, it was working fine before a macOS update (actually shifted to a new MacBook).

Is there anything else to configure?

Having the same issue on freshly installed Mac OS 26.1 (25B78), MeetingBar version 4.11.6.

No full screen notifications whatsoever. Tried both apple calendar and google calendar, same behavior.

Please help, I already missed some meeting because of this 🥹

I'm having the same issue. Even the system notifications aren't working for me - despite them being enabled correctly.
This is on a new Mac (m4) with MacOS 15.6. It was working perfectly on my old Intel based Mac.

I managed to finally fix it by deleting the container folder for MeetingBar settings, then reinstalling the application from the app store. You can try this by closing MeetingBar, then removing user ~/Library/Containers/leits.MeetingBar folder.
You will have to setup everything from the begining, but for me after that it started showing notifications (Both fullscreen and system notifications).
