Unable to get new credentials, does this still work?

I have followed all the instructions but I'm unable to complete the process and get similar errors as reported by others around oob being changed by google.
Can someone confirm that this still works on a fresh install?

Closing due to lack of details and no activity in 1.5 years.

For reference: gmail-tester uses a local HTTP server for OAuth, not the deprecated OOB flow, so it should still work.

If you're still experiencing issues, common causes are:

1. Port 80 blocked - PR Added port #135 adds configurable port support
2. Google Cloud Console setup - ensure your app is configured correctly with Desktop app OAuth credentials
