This mod is absolutely amazing. It saved SkyrimVR for me. As a mage i need to be able to access my array of abilities quickly.

You could nearly double the slots, by giving an option, to have them detect which hand is used when loading.
So if you use the right hand for the right shoulder, it'll equip one item or spell (or set of items/spells).
But if you use the Left hand on the right shoulder, it'll equip a completely different item/spell/set.

I play a mage, with a few additional spell mods installed. Apocalypse magic etc.
So needing a LOT of slots is a big deal. Since i need some for magelight, some for healing, then my offensives and my summons. And so on.

I play seated (multiple sclerosis has me a bit limited.) So i'm a bit limited in where i can put my slots. So being able to instantly double them by having them detect when hand is grabbing them, would help tremendously.

I looked through some of the comments in the source. Were some of the changes that are being made, eventually intended to be used for this feature request?

I'm not a programmer, but I have common sense and a basic understanding of how things work. So it looked like a couple new functions were aimed at making this feature request a reality.

Hi, sorry for being incredibly late to respond to this (my life is far more hectic than I'd like!) but have you tried the latest version with Shizof's improvements (v0.6)? It should allow you to use toggle on slots and in general get a lot more out of one single slot than before. In theory you could cycle through many spells or at least toggle on 2.

Essentially, i could use the same spot twice for 2 different spells, by making them controller specific, so if i trigger the spot with the left controller i get 1 spell, if i trigger the spot with the right controller i get a different spell. So a quickslot only activates with a specific controller, even if that "hot spot" has 2 different quickslots in the same location.

@lfrazer Does can i use activatebutton in each quickslot? and can you set it up so each controller has it's own activation button ID? So both Left Trigger and Right trigger aren't 33? I'm playing SkyrimVR again, and sure enough, i have too many spells and not enough quick slots.

Edit: I couldn't use the activate button within an individual quickslot sadly,
It still only activates with the trigger (default button). Oh well.

Yeah for my idea to work, we'd need to have activatebutton and device ID check, for each quickslot.

Many quickslots, same posx/posy/posz location.

This would check which controller is pressed, 1 = right, 2 = left. And the activatebutton, to check which is pressed, so we can have 1 spot, and it'll check which controller.

If they all share the same button, then that doubles our quick slots. But if we get to check which button in addition to which device(which controller), then we get 2x every button combo, for each spot!

So my right shoulder, could have 10 different spells. depending on which button i press on which controller!

activatebutton: The button to use for activation. Default is Trigger "33". You can change this to "2" to use Grip instead. Here is the list for all button IDs:
