OpenCV 5.0.0 breaks several functionalities. Ensure that

• python 3.9 remains compatible
• python 3.14 works as well

Hi! I investigated one of the OpenCV 5 compatibility failures while testing with:

Python 3.14.4
OpenCV 5.0.0

The failing test was:

tests/test_cameraconfig.py::test_camera_calib

The failure occurs in cv.calibrate_camera() during the reprojection error calculation.

img_pts has shape (N, 2) while cv2.projectPoints() returns (N, 1, 2) in Python. OpenCV 5 rejects these mismatched array layouts in cv2.norm().

Reshaping both arrays to (N, 2) before calling cv2.norm() makes the test pass locally.

Before opening a PR, I'd like to confirm whether this is the preferred fix or if the point arrays should instead be normalized earlier in the calibration pipeline.

Thanks for starting to look into this. For now v0.9.8 has OpenCV version fixed to <5.0.0 to ensure new installations don't break.

Second, probably a bit more investigations are needed. As there are operational services dependent on this we need to also ensure there is backward compatibility. So I will spend some more time on it. Please do make a pull request toward branch 302-opencv-5. I can then extend it where necessary.
