[Feat]: Allow opening navigation with a preselected menu item #2128

When navigating back from App A to a navigation view, the navigation always defaults to the first menu item. This makes it impossible to return users to the menu item they were previously interacting with, which can be frustrating and disrupts user flow.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the ability to open a navigation view with a specific menu item preselected (e.g. "Menu Item 3").
Additional context
This would be especially useful when returning to a navigation from another app or screen and wanting to preserve user context, rather than always resetting them to the first menu item.
