After taking a screenshot, you can quickly edit it using shortcuts or other methods, such as annotation features.

@busyhe Thanks for the suggestion! Currently you can use the annotation editor's crop tool to adjust the captured area after taking a screenshot. We'll consider adding in-place selection resizing in a future update.

In the meantime, the new Capture Area & Annotate shortcut (Option+Shift+8) makes it faster to get into the editor where you can crop. It will be included in the next release.
